I am having an awful time trying to get a new contract with BT organised. Despite getting up on the screen a package I want (500mbps for £34.99/month) when I click on 'Checkout now' it comes up at £64.99/month. I spent hours yesterday trying to get a new deal with my EE mobile (for 2 telephone numbers) and ended up leaving them because of my frustration at getting a decent deal online (technical errors) I had to make phone calls to EE and ended getting cut off multiple times.
I just don't want to go though the same pain with BT. Is there an easy fix for this problem without having to spend hours on the telephone to a non existent customer service section. I just want the deal in front of me, am a willing customer, I just can't get to it.
Hi @kingy It's great news that you're looking to renew your contract with us.
It does sound odd that the price changes when you go to the checkout page, could you check to see if you've added any extras to the plan, as that may be why the price is showing as higher than expected?

No extras, just added it to cart and nothing more. I tried it with some other offers that came up and exactly the same thing happened.
Thanks @kingy I've tried to do the order myself, just so I can see what's happening.
When I click on add and continue on each page, it comes up to £64.99.
When you get to the checkout page, does it let you remove anything?
