Dealing with BT via a Lasting Power of Attorney

Hi,

My Mum is currently with Plusnet for phone/broadband.   Having Lasting Power of Attorney for her, I'm on her account as a contact who can deal with billing, support etc.   To be frank this was very easy to put in place at the time (which surprised me!)

I'm thinking of switching her to BT and wondered if the process for getting me set up as an official contact on Mum's account is likely to be as smoothe? (I appreciate BT owns Plusnet!)

Thanks,

Re: Dealing with BT via a Lasting Power of Attorney

Hi @Steveharman and welcome to our community.

It shouldn't be difficult to set up the PoA on your mums account. Take a look at What Power of Attorney (PoA) does BT accept? | BT Help for advice.

Cheers

David
