Equipment awaiting return status

Returned my BT router equipment as per the instructions using the bag and label provided, posted on 13/06/23 and according to Royal Mail was delivered on 15/06/23, and the status is still awaiting return, with a deadline of the 11/07/23. Keep getting emails telling me to return it, but I don't know what else I can do to avoid the £43 fine.

It is presently taking about four weeks for items to be marked as returned after they have been received by BT. If you call 0330.1234.150 with your Proof of Postage or your Proof of Receipt they will update your account for you.
