I'd like to upgrade from Fibre1 (69Mb) to a Full-Fibre-to-Property (100Mb+) but am in a bit of a quandry.
Currently, we have a Paygo landline with the 'International Freedom' addon - because the only calls we make is once a week to our family in New Zealand.
I can't see any similar International Calls addon if I was to upgrade to FFTP and I don't see our calls to NZ being Free of Charge through FFTP (if only), so does that mean we'd also have to retain a Landline to get the same benefit we do now? Seems like a costly move if so!

I thought the call packages were the same whether old analogue or new digital voice
Can you not connect with family in New Zealand using Facebook messenger or WhatsApp for example which are free and also has bonus of video calls also free
New Zealand is a bit third-world when it comes to Mobile phone, data coverage and especially Broadband. A country larger than the UK, with a population smaller than Scotland, so services can be a bit iffy. This is exacerbated if you live way outside of any major city/town in the farmlands (as our relatives do) - so a landline is the only option for proper contact.
@Cholmondeley Welcome to the community and thanks for posting. The International Freedom calling plan add-on is available on digital voice, the plans we offer are the same on both analogue and digital voice lines.
When choosing your package make sure to select broadband & phone and it will give you the options to choose your calling plan and add-ons.
Thanks
Neil
