FTTP Up Grade

Hi,

I have received a letter to upgrade to full fibre. I am currently on the Social Tariff. I tried to do the upgrade by contacting BT, on the number on the letter. Apparently, I cannot upgrade on the Social Tariff and I will have to do a new contract. They offered me 100mb full fibre for £29.00, which was OK, but I would like to stay on the Social Tariff. Is there anything I can do to upgrade to full fibre? A different phone number to contact them on?

Thanks for any advice!

Re: FTTP Up Grade

I'd bite their hand off at £29/month for full FTTP if that's what's on offer.
I'm currently paying nearly £60/month for FTTC - I allowed myself to be "upgraded" to a Halo deal (this was when I was upgraded from ADSL to VDSL and BT implied (falsely) that going to Halo was the only way to do this) without realising how much more this is than BT's no frills services that they routinely offer to new customers
