Fibre bill but not got fibre

Go to solution

I think my bill has gone up and it says I have full fibre now and it’s increasing because of that.
However the internet comes in through the wall via a phone line and ASDL filter so I don’t think I do have full fibre. Or do I?

There is no difference in price differential ,  40 , 55 or 80 Mb is the same price on FTTC and FTTP but as FTTP needs to be installed , you can’t have it without being aware (they don’t sneak in behind your back to install it ) ….if your  you bill has increased its probably because you have reached the end of a minimum term and a discount has been removed or most likely the annual £3 or £4 increase has been applied

@MagicMary  You say that you think your bill has gone up? You either know that it’s gone up, or you don’t. You haven’t explained how you’ve come to that conclusion or how you know that you’re now apparently on full fibre?

This might seem an obvious thing to do for most customers, but have you actually checked your bill from BT? Within the bill, it will tell you exactly what package you are on and what you are being charged for.

If you can’t deduce from your monthly bill what exactly it is you are paying for every month, then give BT billing a call and ask them to explain it to you.
