Getting "Sorry, we can't get your account details" message

I have been trying to access my billing details on MyBT via mobile and PC/Laptop. Unfortunately, all I get is the message "Sorry, we can't get your account details at the moment".

Why is this such an issue for BT and only BT? Live chat/phone wait times are shocking, with such a common fault surely they should have implemented a form to submit to resolve this by now?
