Re: Halo 3 vs Fibre Essential

I am not sure what you mean?

I did have Halo 3 but I was having connection issues and it seems my plan has been changed to Home Essentials Unlimited Fibre Essential Plan. But I don't know what this is?

Halo 3 is not a technology, it is a benefits add on package.

Re: Halo 3 vs Fibre Essential

Halo 3 is what happens when you take your marketing advice from the Ministry of Truth in George Orwell's novel 1984.  If your broadband breaks, they'll fix it - as if they wouldn't do anyhow!

You'll never pay more for the Halo 3 product than a new customer would!  If I were being even more pedantic, then it really ought to be free, because as far as I can tell you can't sign up to Halo 3 as a new customer.  New customers sign up to essentials or essentials + phone, and possibly a few other extras.

It really does seem to be a means of making you think you are being upgraded while actually offering you nothing. If you fall for it, then the big winner is BT, who gets to keep you as a customer!

It's a big enough scam that it really ought to be brought to the attention of OFCOM or Trading Standards, as it is quite simply misselling.

I only learn by making mistakes and owning up to them - boy do I learn a lot!
