Help with a new connection

Hi everyone,

I'd like some help / suggestions to what service I can start using from BT given I'm moving into my own rented apartment.

The area has spotty connection and it's a struggle to receive WiFi. The apartment also seems to not be connected to the network which is something I'm going to have to take care of however I'd like to avoid the full works of having fixed broadband and phone line and prefer to have something more mobile with less hassle such as a 4G modem and a data SIM or bundle. I want to also avoid committing to a lengthy contract so would prefer monthly roll over. I also never use a landline either.

Is there anything BT offers that I can opt for given my situation? Right now I'm more Inclined to use a data SIM which can be used in a mobile router and as long as I get enough speed to work and stream, that would do me fine.

Looking forward to your responses,

Rico

Re: 4G Modem or data sin?

Hi, @Riconline Welcome to the community and thanks for posting, I'm sorry about the delay getting back to you.

The BT Broadband 4G plans come with a 24-month contract so these may not suit your needs. Have you considered one of the EE Mobile Broadband plans as some of these offer 1-month contracts?

Thanks

Neil
