Home Essentials - signing off UC

Go to solution

Hi all,

I'm signing off universal credit soon and was wondering if I should notify BT about it

Package details page on MyBT says that BT themselves will check it when my contract ends and I don't have to do anything
However, the eligibility check won't happen until december and I don't want BT to consider me a fraudster and order me to repay x amount of money for those 5 months

Any advice?

I think you can just stay on essentials until BT make the check after 12 months and then you will have to move to standard package unless you are eligible to claim at next check
