How long does it take to install Full Fibre?

I placed an order in the middle of April and it still hasn't been installed.  Is more than 3 months the average wait time for this?

If so, what activation date have you been given?

Yes, with residential.  Activation date keeps changing.  Every day there is a Provisional Broadband Engineer appointment but no-one ever turns up

The survey note is built to the curtilage hard , this should mean that relatively recently the footpaths have been excavated and a toby box or a duct marker left outside every address, ( if semi detached possibly one toby for two addresses at the mid point so both properties can be served from the single toby )  ….have you noticed anything recently provided outside your address in the footpath , have a look is there anything there  ?

Your installation is KCI2 assure , in part because the route across your front garden needs to be agreed, the toby box position is obviously fixed and a straight route  to your house wall is the easiest for the people who excavate your garden, but this may interfere with your driveway or landscaping so you need to agree the route before work can begin

They have already dug up my garden, about a month ago.  There is a plastic pipe sticking out of the ground next to my wall

In which case it’s difficult to know what the problem is , the hard part is complete, all you can do is contact your ISP and get them to chase Openreach to see why there is a delay, all that should be required now , is an optical cable provided through the ‘pipe’ in your garden back to the footway box containing the fibre equipment, and that fibre equipment should have already been checked , commissioned and ready for service before you could order , so it is a puzzle, perhaps the contractor who dug up your garden hasn’t signed off the job so OR are unaware that the second stage can be started .
