I places an order on 18 Nov for a broadband switch from Vodafone to BT.
My order went ahead and I got the usual confirmation.....
then I got a sms, BT here issue with your order please call us---
Hi, BT here, regarding your recent order.
We need to confirm some information before we can progress it.
Please can you give us a call on 0330 1230 931.
We are open 8am-9pm Mon to Fri, 8am-8pm Sat and 9am-6pm Sun.--
I called and was told BT needs to cancel the order and try again so it got cancelled on 19 th Nov. I was told not to worry and an agent re placed another one. got my activation date set for 3rd December and Vodafone sent an email to say "sorry for leaving us...... we will stop your order on 2nd Dec24".
Fast forward
3rd came no activation. BT here sms said sorry for the delay we will activate you on 4th.
4Th came and again no activation ,again BT Here sms said"sorry for the delay we ll contact you in the next 7 days.
So I called today and spoken to a person who said the second order was wrong and told to hold, and between 12 pm to 14pm I was on hold then had to start all over again going through the 4th credit check. give out my DD detail again for the 4th time.... I was then told that I do not have to wait 2 weeks and will be activated with in 24 hours I said ok then. go ahead and the lady placed the 4th order.
Now I get an sms saying my activation date will be on 18th of dec????????
Are they having a laugh??
Can anyone look into this please.

the 3rd order was cancelled over the phone today and was not given any info.

I am very sorry you have had these delays setting up new BT contract.
We have no account access on the community to check the order and see why this been delayed. I would suggest getting back in touch with our orders team, they will have access to the account history and provide more information.
