Migration to EE

Having migrated from bt to EE I have the following problem. I agreed a price with the sales person  for basically what I had on bt but with full fibre.  Upon commencement  I have been without HD on TNT and Sky sports.  I have phoned twice  firstly I was told it would  take a  few days to activate HD its a problem moving to EE.  No luck so I phoned again to which I was told  my order was still classed as open  and once that was sorted  I could phone sales  to add HD for a further payment???????. I have just checked my package  with the bt bundle builder  and the price is either £85.99 or £90.99 ! Advice please.

Re: Migration to EE

I'm afraid this is yet another case of BT sales agents either not knowing what their talking about, or being deceitful to get their commission for a BT to EE conversion.
All you can do is phone BT complaints and persist until you get a resolution.
BT to EE migrations are a bit of a shambles and, IMHO, should be avoided until, hopefully, BT sorts the process out.

Re: Migration to EE

Yeah I spoken to them again been told the situation is open call back Thursday! Then come Thursday no resolution I bet. Also I don't like the way they make it that you are the one that messed it up ! I was at the end of my contract so therefore looking at options. To get full fibre did I have to migrate?

Re: Migration to EE

Question then as I didn't request to migrate to EE why did it happen? The sales person said bt was now becoming business deals whilst ee was residential! I am still in the 14 day cancellation period should I request to be put on bt full fibre ? To sort out this package mess.

Re: Migration to EE

BT Sales operate on commission so they will try and get you to move to EE. It is going that way EE will take over fully but there are so many issues with the migration its been going on for months. Not first time someone announced a new way of working and its not fit for purpose yet.

I cant really advise because there was another post on here about someone trying to move back to BT and it ended up in another complete mess.

I was just "lucky" that when I tried to move to EE it kept failing so avoided a 50/50 chance of success.
