Mimimum Contract to move

Hi, my BT Broadband, TV ect, contract is up at the 12th June 2026. I am looking to move provider, what would be the earliest that I could instigate the move (place the order with the new provider) so that I dont have to pay any extra Fees?

If you are using the OTS (one touch switch) you do not need to give BT any notice. That is done by the ISP that you are moving to.

You need to contact your new ISP with the date you want your move to take place and they do the rest.

The process should only take a couple of days but I would suggest you give the new ISP at least a week to ten days notice of when you want it to start.
