My new address is not showing on BT

I am moving to a new build, the address has been registered but not showing on BT, does anyone know what I can do please?

if a new build does it have fibre to the home pre installed

The builder said fibre is available to the property from above whatever that means

if you have access to the new property then look for something like this if fibre provided by openreach.  there is a difference between there is fibre installed at the property and fibre is available at property - need it clarified

Pray..

 

I have been in a new build for six years with fibre to the property.

 

I've had on going issues, as it turns out it was installed incorrectly.

They initially had the wrong address and despite numerous attempts on my part and updates, were still using my previous phone number!

 

Beware BT promises,  they have consistently let me down. 😡

Builders sometimes do a deal with providers other than Openreach. You need to ask the builder whether the fibre is Openreach or someone else.

Also check for the presence of an Openreach ONT as posted by @imjolly.
