ORDI request

Hello,

My BT contract will expire in just over a month and I intend to switch. When I contacted a new provider, they said there's no record of my address on Openreach. Because of this, I'll have to pay a higher installation fee unless I update my records. The person also mentioned something about ORDI robot. Anyway, I was advised to get in touch with BT and get them to update my records. I'm currently on BT's Fibre Halo 3+.

If someone can point me in the right direction, it'll be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

@kmmmelvin

Use the address checker on the page below, and post the results, but edit out your address details first, but leave the exchange name and cabinet number showing.

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL

Please include any notes at the bottom of that page.

@kmmmelvin

Your address is correct on the Openreach database. You can get up to 80Mbs connection speed, so not sure what the other provider is talking about.

There is no Openreach fibre, so perhaps they simply want to install their own fibre, at a price.
