Bear in mind, it can take 10 days for it to be updated, so it would be worth considering a 4G mobile broadband connection while you wait.

Once a broadband order is active, and if there is likely to be a delay, you can ask BT to loan you a 4G mini hub, while you wait.

Look at the top line where it says "Address Checker", and select that option instead.

sorry worked it out and my address is not there but as i said it is on Royal mail

That is fine, you will have to wait for the update. Its just odd if there was a phone there before, but it may have been with a provider that does not use the Openreach network, or the routing information has been lost by Openreach.

Hopefully @StuartH  will get it sorted for you.
