Openreach does not recognise my address.

Go to solution

Hi,

Openreach does not recognise my address even though I've been with BT for 18 years. I contacted BT today and they have said that they cannot find a problem. Yet when I check on the Openreach site our address does not come up. We've been with BT for 18+ years and every time we have deliveries the packages go next door.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Lynn

@LynnE30

Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.

This is just a customer to customer help forum, everyone here, including myself, are just customers.

Is your address correct on the Post Office address database?

What billing address is showing on MyBT, is it correct?

Please do not post any personal details here.

Hi Keith

Many thanks for the quick response.

I can confirm that my address on the Post Office database and on MyBT is correct....they are the same.

Regards

Lynn

@LynnE30

Not sure where the error is occurring, especially as deliveries from BT Retail are going next door.

The Openreach issue may be related, so its going to need someone from BT to look at the data integrity.

I have asked a moderator to assist, they will post here.

Hi @LynnE30

Welcome to the BT Community and thank you for your posts!

I am sorry for the mix up with your address details.  I can see you've confirmed that your address is correct on Royal Mail's database.  We can take your details offline and make sure everything is correct.  I have sent you a private message with instructions on how you can send us over your details and we'll look into this for you. See: Private messages

Thanks,

Robbie
