Order problems

Am I the only one who finds that every time I place an order something goes wrong? This time I placed an order for BT TV but cancelled on the same day. So when the activation date came around, 2nd May, I  received the TV box and the next day a returns envelope for box. What a waste of money. I've returned box. I then checked my contract end date for broadband and found it had changed to 1st May 2026. I called BT and asked for this to be reverted to my original date of June 2025(not sure of exact date, as I was assured that my broadband  end date would not change). Have been told that this would be sorted by 10am today. It hasn't.  I'm now so annoyed with BT that I would like to cancel but not willing to pay early cancellation fee. What can I  do next?

when you placed your order for BT TV that would immediately extended your broadband contract as you cannot have BT TV with BT Broadband.  As you have cancelled your BT TV then your broadband should revert back to original end date.

if you want to leave without penalty then you need to wait until contract end date
