Question about Billing and Packages

I hope everyone is enjoying their day.

Can you get the Full Fiber 100 package without Halo 3+? I wondered. I'm trying to see if we can cut some expenses as we currently pay £53.99 monthly.

Last week, Full Fibre was installed. The engineer who came out the other day explained that the Hybrid Hub maintains connectivity during a power outage. Still, considering how rarely we have lost BT Broadband, is it necessary? To make matters worse, the engineer kindly informed us that the Hybrid Hub we connected wasn't functioning at all.

I'd appreciate any feedback, guys!

Yes you can get BT Broadband without Halo 3+ which is just an expensive add on which once you have it it becomes very difficult to get BT to remove from your package.

I would suggest that it will be of no or very little benefit to have it as part of your package and it is best avoided.

In no way does the hybrid hub work in a power cut, it is only of use for a line fault.
