I had a similar raft of emails and texts from BT comms and Openreach last Friday saying they were upgrading me to Full Fibre BB and DV.
I immediately contacted them and told them I don't want this change over yet and the bloke went away for a few minutes and came back and said it has been cancelled.
I have now checked in MyBT and see in 'Track orders' that their original order has been cancelled when i click on Track Order and above that is another Order Number with 'Auto Cease' Order Pending.
I presume, without any confirmation emails or texts that this upgrade has been cancelled for the time being and the visits and SH2 won't arrive as originally set out in the first order instigated by BT?.

Hi @HHGTTG
That certainly does sound like the order has been cancelled, but the Auto Cease would likely be linked to your current service.
With that showing as pending, it would be best to check it with our customer service guides, just so they can get into your account and make 100% sure that everything is cancelled for the DV and Full Fibre, and that your current service with carry on as it is.

I have just contacted CS and rather unfortunately spoke to an agent with an accent difficult to understand fully but she explained the 'Open' order for DV and FTTP that has been cancelled has indeed been cancelled and that the other Auto Cease Order that is Pending with disappear in a day or so and this will NOT affect my current BB and Telelphony package.
I was sent a confirmation email that confirmed the DV/FTTP problem was cancelled but that was all.
As an anxious person I still have this feeling of unease but I cannot help that. I wish I could have spoken with someone with a non African accent.

I can fully understand the concern @HHGTTG. If the team have said it will drop off, it sounds like there is nothing to worry about, but do keep an eye on the pending order and if it hasn't changed over the next couple of days, give the team another call.
