Hi. Im looking to upgrade my broadband which says comes with 12 months free xbox game pass. My 2 sons have their own xbox accounts. Am i right in thinking then that you have to activate the free game pass 'if you want it'. If i dont activate it, it does nothing to both my sons current xbox accounts and i wont be charged the £10 per month from month 13 (of a 24 month contract)?

Hi, @Joanne01 welcome to the community, and thanks for posting. I've started your own thread to avoid any confusion with the OP's question. The free Gamepass can only be redeemed for one Xbox account, once redeemed it will apply 12 months' worth of free access to the Xbox account you provide as part of the activation process. 

The 12 months start when you activate it and you can opt out of the auto-renewal in MyBT which will revert control of the game pass back to Microsoft after the 12 months finish and you won't be charged for the monthly pass through your BT bill.

So if i don't activate the pass what will happen at month 13, i won't be charged £10 per month for the remaining duration of my contract?

@Joanne01 You have to activate the pass to get the free 12 months, you then need to then opt-out of the auto renewal to stop the £10 charge once the 12 months have finished.
