Returned EE hardware in BT returns package

Hi,

I recently called BT to cancel, and while on the same call I moved over to EE (as the companies are now merging/working together)

While on that call I:

- Cancelled BT broadband

- Registered for EE broadband

- Upgraded my EE phone

EE ask me to return my old phone, and the next day I received a returns kit bag.

I know BT would also want their equipment back so I put in all my BT equipment, as well as my EE phone.

I didn't realise this was incorrect, and that EE and BT returns are not the same place. I sent the phone handset to BT rather then EE.

Now Im being charged by EE, and no one at BT can tell me what happened to my handset. Surely they should return it to me?

Can you provide any contact details for the closest processing centre to bristol, or the one that tracking number QY621054076GB went to so I can contact the team who received my equipment and arrange a return?

Re: Returned EE hardware in BT returns package

This is a customer to customer forum.

You should be able to see where and when your package was delivered to for yourself by using that reference number on the Royal Mail tracking site.

You should only have placed the requested equipment in the returns bag
