Called into EE shop to enquire about EE tv and was advised to take EE package for tv,broadband and landline .my sky tv contract was complete and the agent advised that as my broadband and landline although still in contract with BT could be transfered free of charge as they are fundamentally the same company. Since the changeover in September I have received bills of £512.92 for broadband contract an £352 for landline contract. Queried with BT who advised to go back into store,..manager in store said agent had now left but would investigate,and I've had no contact from either BT or EE,hav contacted ombudsman and requested a letter of deadlock from BT..my broadband is now down, would BT cut me off ?
You only need a deadlock letter if it's less than eight weeks since your initial complaint. After that you can go straight to arbitration.
