Switch from Sky to BT and sorting the bill - switchteams@bt.com saying it’s an invalid email address

Hi. So recently we switched from Sky to BT and we were told that if Sky sent us any bills for cancelling then to email BT and they would sort it for us. We got sent a bill from Sky and I email switchteams@bt.com and got an automated email back saying it’s not a correct email and I need to try again. We’re a low income household so we can’t afford the bill and need help as BT said they would. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Cancellation fee from Sky after switching to BT

So, I found the right email and managed to send the information for BT to refund the money to pay the bill but we’ve only just had the letter about it from Sky and the automated email said in order for it to be successful it has to be within 2 months of switching to BT. That 2 months was technically up on the 16/05/25 and it’s now 22/05/25 but we’re a low income household living pay check to pay check and with certain personal circumstances we can’t afford this right now. Any advice?

try contacting Bt billing using message now and see if they can help  alternatively you can phone CS 03301234150
