I'm trying to find out more information about a statement I saw when signing up for bt broadband last year. It was concerning switching over to fttp when it becomes available?
Anyone know any info on this? Ideally I don't want a new contract.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Are you thinking of BT Halo 3+? It offers a "free upgrade to full fibre 100" when it becomes available in your area.
I had FTTC with Halo 3+ until last month when full fibre finally became available. I had the offer to move to FF 100 in My BT, but chose to go to FF 900 instead for £1 more per month. I had to start a new contract for the FF 900; I don't know if you need to do the same for the FF 100.
Thanks, you just reminded me. Then I found the same info on a screenshot
Full Fibre Promise
Your broadband package includes our Full Fibre promise. We'll let you know once Full Fibre is available at your address and offer you a free upgrade to Full Fibre 100 if you recontract. Find out more about Full Fibre.
I'll mark as solved.
