I have received a text from BT for a postage tracking number of a disc I returned which was due to a mistake by BT. Replying to the text as requested results in a Not Sent message. How do they expect you to reply when this happens? I do not want to use the time consuming telephone service.

The last text I had from BT which when I went to reply on mobile warned that there may be a cost for the text. There was no charge but my mobile is set not to send text if chargeable unless authorised so is your mobile have a similar setting
Thanks Imjolly that appears to be the case but I have found posts on other sites that refer to having to upgrade to premium texting and higher charge settings which I am not prepared to do. It seems an unresolved issue for most people so BT can stick it.
