The BT activation page won't accept my mother maiden name

Hi,

I've seen this posted before on this forum, but I'm not sure if the answer applies to my situation. The activation page won't accept my mothers maiden name, and I think it may have something to do with my my mother maiden name having an apostrophe in it - which is what I entered when I opened the account.

I notice however, that special characters are not accepted when I attempt to input the name on the activation page - so it kicks me out.

Can someone please tell me how I can change my mothers maiden name so I can activate my account?

I am sorry for the problems you're having with the security question on your BTID.  Call our guides in the helpdesk who'll be able to help you out with this.  You can reach them on 0330 1234 150.
