My gamepass account is linked to my Dads BT account and we no longer want these linked. My dad has been on the phone for over an hour multiple times and getting nowhere. We were promised they would be separated by 28th August but this also proved to be incorrect. I can see on this forum others have asked for these to be separated, so is anyone able to help and separate them? I've spoken to Microsoft who can't do anything.
The latest on the phone is we need to wait for it to expire in August 2024, the only issue is my gamepass account says it expires in Jan 2024 so leaving me with 8 months of no access. We both want this over and the accounts split.

Thank you for posting and welcome to the Community.
Just to make sure I understand correctly. I take it your Father sign up to an offer where he got a 12 month Game Pass included with that offer? Your Xbox Account should still work as normal until the 12 month Game pass expires with BT.
Once that happens your Xbox Account should revert back to Microsoft as before. If you would like your Xbox account unlinked before the 12 month ends, I can take a look at this for you.
