I've just had notification that I've ordered an XBox Game Pass through my BT account at £10 a month. I know that I didn't as I have a paid up subscription for the next 2 years! I doubt it's because the accounts been compromised as I changed my password and added 2 factor authentication 2 days ago and this seems to have happened since - although I can't check the actual order details on MyBT.
Is this a ploy by BT to add something to my bill I didn't want?
Hi @greentrident, sorry the Game Pass has been set up on your BT account even though you have already set up 2FA.
Get in touch with our billing team on this link Broadband | BT Help and choose the option to 'Message now' and they'll be able to help you with a refund of the charge to resolve this.
