Re: Upgrade to Full Fibre nightmare

They tried that order still got cancelled. It's even been tried as a house move and that failed. Now my BT Complaints Executive has disappeared been 7 days now no contact and no way to get in touch.

Re: Upgrade to Full Fibre nightmare

So to keep the saga going.

The great day of the Engineer visit has arrived. Due to be fitted FTTP between 0800 x 1300hrs. Received a txt from a company called MJ Quinn with a video showing what to expect.

and waited

and waited

and waited

Received a phone call from Engineer has to take his girlfriend to hospital and will try and come later today.

I just know its not going to happen today. 20th Nov Complaints Customer Exec are going to ring me to check the install went okay.

🤣its hilarious.

Re: Upgrade to Full Fibre nightmare

Update : Engineer arrived at exchange 11:27am. It was indeed a sub contractor for OpenReach. He was pretty good arrived at our house about 2pm. Took him 90 minutes to do the FTTP connection. The order that went through was for 900Mbps FTTP and at the moment I`m getting 1060Mbps. Expect this to go down a bit but finally this might be over.

Re: Upgrade to Full Fibre nightmare

So yes after 3 long months I've ended up with a better package that what I originally requested and also a deal has been worked out which compensates me for the problems encountered. So really happy with the resolution and discount just wish it had not took so long.
