Upgrade to full fibre, new contract 24 months, whta happens to TC contract?

Hello,

I am being offered an upgrade to full fibre.

I know this will mean I have to recontract for 24 months.

I understand my TV contact would also renew so they are both aligned.

My problem is I am only a few months into a promotional price for my TV.

Will I lose this promotional offer and be charged full price for TV  if I upgrade my broadband?

It's unlikely as your starting a new contract and effectively ending the old contract which was linked to your offer.

Only BT will be able to answer that accurately.

You should give BT Billing 0330.1234.150 a call and ask them what will happen.

It may be that they will carry the price of the TV package over if it is not too far into the contract term or they may just let the TV contract run its present term because it will obviously end before your "new" FTTP broadband contract would end.
