VOIP calling charges

Go to solution

Does anybody have any experience of calling VOIP numbers using a BT landline with a call inclusive package? The VOIP number is an imported UK landline number, so appears as a normal 01 number but will the BT system see it as a 01 number in terms of calls charges?

If you're dialing 01,02 or 03 to make the call, you'll be charged standard UK landline fees, no matter what technology is provided for the number, treat it like any other UK landline.

If you have an unlimited minutes or 700 minute calling plan then 01,02,03 and UK mobiles are included within the calling plan allowance.
