On the 25th December (ironically Xmas Day!) a xbox game pass was activated from my BT account (not by me!!).
I then also had a email from BT saying my BT account may have been hacked!
I changed my BT account password and was on the phone to BT for over an hour, they had no idea what I was going on about. They advised me to cancel the auto renewal which I have done and that runs out today. I asked them to confirm no money would be taken from my account which they did but £10 was taken last week out my bank!
The annoying thing is I have got a 6mths free Xbox Pass for renewing my broadband and I want to use this for my sons Xbox but I can't as there is an active subscription which is NOT mine. It is so frustrating.
Will I be able to do this tomorrow after it doesn't auto renewal? I just want to set it up and link it to my sons Xbox account to get the 6 months free pass and then continue paying for it through BT at £10pm rather than Microsoft at £12.99pm. I am just worried I am going to activate it again to the hacked persons account. HELP please!
