Beware, BT are still charging £22.99 for Xbox Gamepass ultimate when it was reduced by Xbox in March to £16.99.
i have just been in a chat with them for over an hour trying to get a refund for the overcharge. They were adamant that they were correct in charging that even when I sent them proof that the price had been reduced. It is even £16.99 on EE.
ended up cancelling with them and finally got the overcharge back.
please, if you have Gamepass with BT, check how much you are paying.
i also informed trade and standards about the overcharging on RRP.
Microsoft have reduced the cost of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to £16.99 from £22.99.
I've been in contact with BT customer service to enquire as to why this is not reflected in my bill. Apparently, they have no intention on reducing the price....this is poor and profiteering.
You can just get the pass direct from the Xbox Pass site and save yourself £6 a month.
BT...you can do better
@Moonboy8032 Indeed. And someone else has complained about it too:

And yes, you're right, BT will have know about this because as we all know, BT and EE are the same company and to rub salt into it, here's the EE link:
https://ee.co.uk/products/xbox-game-pass-ultimate
Unless of course there's something nobody else but BT knows?.......
I agree that BT should have reduced the cost of the pass and passed it on to the customer. However reporting BT for charging more than RRP is pointless as it says it is recommended price but you can legally charge what you want
But it isn't a good look is it? Not when Microsoft are charging £16.99 and EE are charging £16.99. It's sort of defending the indefensible and BT need to take a look at themselves. It's a mark up that actually cannot be justified, legal or otherwise.
I was not defending BT I think they should have reduced the cost to their customers as soon as it was reduced . I was merely pointing out to @Moonboy8032 that RRP is exactly what it says recommended.
Hopefully BT will do the right thing and refund overcharge automatically to other customers
