Xbox Games Pass Issues "Unable to process your request. Please try again."

Trying to activate Xbox game pass offer and met with

"We're sorry the system is down for maintenance, you can submit your activation request by calling us on 0330 1234 150 choose option 1 and then option 2."

Not getting any further with calling. Can someone please help.

When was your package activated as you need to wait until the 14 day cooling off period has expired before you can go to MYBT and look for 'content partners' .  You need to use pc/laptop and not the app
