"You don't have any accounts you can manage"

I have tried to add my BT account using the ID many times but it keeps saying "You don't have any accounts you can manage" even though I have an account number and I am the owner. I have waited well over the 5 minutes needed to update the information but there still haven't been any changes. I have tried looking at solutions in the forum but none of them seem to work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
