BT App does not retain my account number

Just lately the BT App no longer retains my account number and requires me to link this. Doing it once was irritating but I just thought the App had been upgraded, however this happens every time. How do I make the BT App retain my account details?

I would perhaps try and delete the app and re-install and see if that helps 

If not I would contact BT and see if they can reset things their end.
