I've had windows 11 for ages and I have been getting this problem. Then 2 days ago bt cloud updated itself to a new version and it started working!

Check how much space is on your backup drive. Mine only worked fo a short while then I discovered lots of old backups that needed deleting. So I cleared them out and it started up again.
