BT Parental Controls

Hi, I have set-up BT Parental Controls to "Light", but it is not working as I would expect.

On the positive it blocks access to relevant websites, which I would expect.

On the negative I can still search in google for any content I want and see the full search results, such as images.

BT Parental Controls does not seem to affect safe searching.

What am I missing?

If you are signed into google with your google account, it could be using the safe search settings for that account.  If you try a private window and try searching google (not signed in) the safe search should be on by default (I believe)

Thanks for your reply. I am not logged into google, so would expect the search results to be filtered.
