I never really liked this service and as its closing, all I want to do is download my files to an external drive - this seemed to be going OK but when I went to check if there were any more files left on the BT cloud it decided to upload my files back to the cloud. I read here that as the service is closing it is not possible to upload files so whats going on. This is exactly why I stopped using this in the first place - its too confusing and very frustrating - I am using the app and it closes each time I select a folder to download and i have to clcik on it again to see whats going on. Rubbish.

Have you tried doing this online rather than the app?
Do you have access to a laptop or computer?

Hi. I was using the app as recommended in the guidelines issued asking with advice that BT cloud is shutting down. There was not a straight option to download so I assumed selecting sync to my computer would download everything held online but instead it started uploading. I was doing this from my laptop to an external drive. I do also have a desktop pc but as it has several large drives I don't want the possibility of those getting uploaded.
