I tried to change from McAfee to Norton security on my PC today. I went to the website address given in the letter I received from BT www.bt.com/updateyoursecurity and it asked me to long in . When I logged in it to me to my emails.
Has anyone else had problems . How can I fix this .

How long is it since you last checked your bills or account online?
Have you completed a password reset recently?

Yes , I'm logging in at My BT on the BT website.
I haven't had a password reset. I haven't checked out my online account for a while. My bills are sent by email and paid by Direct Debit
. I've tried using two different browsers with the same result.
Hi, @Alison172 Thanks for getting back to us. It sounds like you're logging in with your BT email address rather than your BT ID as this doesn't have to be a BT email address. Do you have another email address that you might have used to set up the BT ID?

Yes . Thx, I've now managed to Log in to My BT!
The update your security link took me to My Security . I scrolled down and it has Broadband Security and BT virus protect . It says activate . I cant find one that says Switch to Norton .
Should I just click on Activate on Norton Virus Protect ?
Hi @Alison172 I'm glad you've managed to log in. If you're using BT Virus protect for the first time you need to click 'Activate' if you're currently using it there's an option to switch to Norton. I hope that helps?
