As we keep saying, there is no need to wait until you are out and about, your own hub transmits the BT WiFi X signal, just try connecting to that.

Re: Can’t connect to wi fi while out

Hi  I  went off my bt home hub and chose bt wi fi x then went back into the phone and it connected straight away like you said , it’s just that it says unsecured network now but it shows that it works so thank you to everyone that helped 😊

just got to find why it won’t verify now on connection profile even though it’s been installed but thanks again

Re: Bt profile

Your BT WiFi username and password are only relevant when connected to a BT WiFi signal. They are not relevant when attempting to connect to other public WiFi signals from hotels etc.
