Can't upgrade tablets to Norton security

I've managed to upgrade a pc, laptop and two phones to the  new Norton security from BT virus protect. However, when I try to do the same on my tablet i.e use the QR code or e-mail option to add another device, it redirects me to the Norton site which then redirects to the BT Virus Protect app, rather than the Norton upgrade app which happened with the phones and worked well. Any suggestions?

Sorry you're having problems updating your tablets. Take a look at Important updates to your virus and password protection . The new app went live in the Google Play store and will gradually get rolled out to customers over time – over the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, if you already have the McAfee version of the BT Virus Protect app installed, it will continue to work as normal. At some point later your device will receive the automatic update from the Google Play store, which you will need to update on your device - just as you would update any app. One you’ve got the update you’ll have to login with you BTID credential just once to activate.
