EE WIFI hotspots

I find these annoying. The BT WIFI app would connect automatically as soon as BT WiFi Hotspot was in range. I didn't need to enter log in details..

To connect to an EE WIFI Hotspot i have to wait for the log in landing page to show. Then accept /reject cookies. Then select Log In then select customer type BT BROADBAND. It then takes you to User ID which one entered click next to the password screen.

So I end up having to do five or six operations to log in. Why are the ID and password on separate pages. Why doesn't it allow auto complete for ID and password. Why can't the BT WIFI app be rebranded and made to work with EE hotspots.

I see this as a backward step

I have the BT WiFi app on iPhone & iPad and they connect automatically to EE WiFi.

After reading your post I did what I should have done first. Deleted and reinstalled the WiFi app on both iPhone and ipad. Entered BT ID sign in details and lo and behold the app now connects to the EE Wifi.

No cannot reinstall this app, as it has been discontinued on the App Store
