'My BT' App

Hi.

The awful functionality and lack of usability not withstanding, is there a straightforward answer as to whether devices (currently/previously connected or not) can be removed/deleted from the app? I cannot see how to do it, either in the app or from the online hub manager. There are conflicting answers as to whether you can or not.

The app and the hub manager show conflicting results when it comes to what's connected or not. It would seem odd that one can't just delete a device. However, not surprising given how useless BT is with most things.

Hi @rdwessex

Welcome to the community.

It sounds like it may be the Access Controls that you are referring to. Have you tried following the steps on the How do I use BT access controls (Wi-Fi Controls) page?

If that doesn't work, and you don't get anything from other community members, it is worth getting in touch with our tech guides, who can look at this further for you.

Re: 'My BT' App

Hi,

Thanks for the response, but no, access controls is not what I'm referring to. I'm trying to get to the bottom of whether devices can be deleted or not from the app and/or hub.

Re: 'My BT' App

Hey @rdwessex, whilst both the app and Hub manager will allow you to see connected devices, and the app features WiFi Controls, there isn't currently the option to delete or disconnect devices via remotely either.

Re: 'My BT' App

The hub manager device list is just that, a list of presently or previously connected devices. It has no use as the information in the list is often incorrect.
