My BT speed test not working

Hey all, updated the my BT app to version 10.0.28 (latest update on Google play store) . When I'm logged in on the app and click on "More" at the bottom, then "Test my speed" and when I click on "Test my speed" on the bottom , nothing happens. I'm guessing that it's a bug in the latest android release as I did see someone else here mention it aswell. It worked fine in the previous version, but since updating to the latest version it's not working. Nothing happens when I click on test my speed. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and it's the same. Are any mods here able to forward this feedback to devs? Just wanted to make you aware. I have a Samsung S24 , android 16, one UI version 8.5. Phone is all upto date. Hopefully someone can pick this up!

Always found the BT speed checker a bit hit and miss.

Much better alternatives like fast.com and which broadband speed test 

Both instantaneous unlike the will it or won't it work BT effort

Not working for me on my Google Pixel 10a either.  I know it was working a few days ago, though.

You can use our online speed checker or the checker in My BT while we work on this.

Yes, just use fast.com. It's what Openreach use to check broadband speeds. Don't waste time on the hit/miss BT speed checker!

It worked until recently, but is now requesting that I connect my iPhone via an ethernet cable.

@Quesada  I wouldn’t fret over the MyBT speed test in the App, just use fast.com
