No Parent Controls
Hi,
we moved the BT WiFi with EE tv recently and it doesn’t matter what I do, I cannot get the parent controls to be active.
this is unacceptable and I can’t find anybody to help…
does anyone work at BT?
is there a support team?
I have teenage children and have lied to them, telling them we have no WiFi as I can’t risk them being on line
is Bt accountable for this?
disgusting.
any help is great…
I wish I had stayed with sky.

Re: No Parent Controls
You need to go to MYBT then security then manage there you can select parental controls and you can set your preferences

Re: No Parent Controls
Hi,
yea, I’ve tried that several times. Have moved from moderate to strict, turned it off, back on but nothing seems to limit access to the entire web. I also tried to block a single site, just to see if that worked but a) the site was not blocked and b) the site I tested was removed from the listing as if it was never listed.
it is as if nothing in parent controls works for me.
I’m on an iPhone, tested the private and non-private function, as well as my laptop…
nothing appears to be working
