PIN Number
Each time I log into the 'My BT' app I'm required to input my email address and password.
I'm then asked to set up a PIN number, so that I don't have to go through this performance every time I open the app.
Great in theory, except every time I re-open the app I have to go through the log on process again and the PIN setup was a total waste of time.
This is on an Android device using the latest app version (9.2.0)

Re: PIN Number
I would try updating the app or if needed uninstall completely then re install and go again, if the issue persists I would call BT and speak to the technical team who should be able to sort it out for you

Re: PIN Number
Yes, tried all that - I'm on the newest version as per my Original Post.
Anyone else having this issue?

Re: PIN Number
Hi @Nick-S
Are you getting any form of error message or simply a prompt to enter your details again ?

Re: PIN Number
The latter, no error message - it's as if it forgets a PIN was previously set and defaults back to the full log in process

Re: PIN Number
Hi @Nick-S.
I know you mentioned the app was up to date, but is the device software up to date as well?
Does it give you option to skip setting up the PIN when you initially login?

Re: PIN Number
The Android OS is up to date.
I've just logged in to try and answer your question and this time it didn't give me the option to set up a PIN - went directly to the apps 'Home' screen after I input email address + password

Re: PIN Number
Thanks @Nick-S. If you force close the app, does it then ask for the username and password again or does it log you straight in?

Re: PIN Number
OK- I closed the app, and on restart it requested email/password as usual
This time the 'choose a PIN' screen has appeared.
I don't have a visible option to NOT choose a PIN to answer your previous question!

Re: PIN Number
That is a little strange @Nick-S.
I think the best option would be to have a chat with our tech guides so they can look into this further as something doesn't seem right.
If they aren't able to get the PIN to stay in place, they can raise a ticket to get it looked at further.
