Problems changing online security to Norton

I have tried to update the security on my laptop to Norton by logging into my BT account but when I click on the appropriate activate link in the security section of my BT account it takes my to a Norton website page but then gets stuck and does not load any further. I have left it several times for a few minutes but the page is blank with the buffering symbol constantly showing.

Has anyone else had this problem and is there a solution so I can ensure my computer is protected. Also do I need to delete the McAfee software before Norton can be downloaded?

Hi @Hugi, welcome to the forum, and sorry you're having a problem changing over to Norton.

Have a look at the section on how to install Norton on your PC/Mac on the Virus Protect help page and see if that helps you change to Norton. There is also guidance on removing non-Norton security software.
